4 ozsweet baking chocolate

1 chot water

5 1/2 cmilk

1/2 chalf and half

1 tspground cinnamon

1/8 tspground nutmeg

How To Make new mexican hot chocolate

1Combine the chocolate and hot water in the top of a double boiler; bring water in the bottom of the double boiler to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook until the chocolate melts, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.

2Combine the milk, half and half, cinnamon and nutmeg in a sauce pan; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated.

3Remove the milk mixture from the heat and add the chocolate mixture to the saucepan. Add the vanilla. Beat with a wire whisk until blended. Pour into mugs; add the cinnamon sticks and serve warm.
