When you are feeling just a little "puny" make a pot and drink up! I keep it covered and simmering on the stove all day in the winter and then refrigerate it at night. Ingredients For natural remedy for winter ailments

6oranges, quartered with skins on

1 bunchgreen onions, cut off green part and discard, using whites only

1piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced

1/4 choney, or as much as needed in a cup to sweeten after cooked
How To Make natural remedy for winter ailments

1In a large pot with a lid, boil about 10 cups water.

2Add oranges, white tops of green onions (whole) and sliced ginger.

3Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low or simmer. Cover.

4Ladle the liquid only into a cup and add some honey to sweeten. Drink up!
