Shared by a friend who said it's been in her Asian family over 100 years used for treatment of colds and lack of energy. The benefits are amazing, especially if caught early. When you are feeling just a little "puny" make a pot and drink up! I keep it covered and simmering on the stove all day in the winter and then refrigerate it at night. Ingredients For natural remedy for winter ailments

    oranges, quartered with skins on
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, cut off green part and discard, using whites only
  • 1
    piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 c
    honey, or as much as needed in a cup to sweeten after cooked

How To Make natural remedy for winter ailments

    In a large pot with a lid, boil about 10 cups water.

    Add oranges, white tops of green onions (whole) and sliced ginger.

    Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low or simmer. Cover.

    Ladle the liquid only into a cup and add some honey to sweeten. Drink up!
