Ingredients For irish chocolate

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy double cream, softly whipped
  • 1 lb. bittersweet dark chocolate
  • 1 t. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup irish whiskey
  • grated chocolate to sprinkle

How To Make irish chocolate

  • 1
    Beat half the cream with the powdered sugar in a medium bowl with mixer on high speed until soft peaks form. Bring remaining cream and milk to a boil in pan over medium heat. Turn heat down to low and add chocolate. Stir until melted. Add whiskey and stir until completely mixed and smooth. Pour into warmed mugs and spoon on the whipped cream over the top. Sprinkle with grated chocolate and serve at once. Serves 4 The Golden Book of Chocolate
