Okay this is one of the recipes that mom didn't want us to give out to anyone, mom is no longer with us and I feel that if we don't share recipes they will be lost for ever, so sorry mom but I have to share. This recipe came from my moms uncle Bob who was known for his drink, I think he was Irish but know, one alive to say if it is true or not.

Ingredients For hot butter rum mix

  • 1 lb
    raw sugar
  • 1/2 lb
    butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 1/2 oz
    rum extract
  • 1/2 oz
    brandy extract
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp
    ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    chocolate syrup
  • white christmas is to be used when making your drink
  • 1 bottle
    rum & brandy mix (white christmas) is the brand i get at the liquor store here.

How To Make hot butter rum mix

    Okay here is the easy part 1. mix everything together well. ( Except the Bottle of White Christmas) store in airtight container in the refrigerator .

    To make a Drink Use a jigger of booze and 1 heasping tablespoon of batter in a cup of hot water. You put the booze in the hot water with the mix . Use one jigger of booze and 1 heaping tablespoon of mix to about 6 or 8 oz. of hot water. You don't put the booze in the mix there is rum and brandy extract in the mix. ENJOY
