Ingredients For gingerbread hot cocoa

  • 4 c
    whole milk
  • 1/2 c
    best quality dark cocoa powder
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cardamom
  • at least a tsp of pure vanilla extract (don't be shy)
  • 1/4 tsp
    sea salt
  • whipped cream for topping

How To Make gingerbread hot cocoa

    In a medium saucepan over low heat, heat milk. While warming the milk, combine the cocoa powered, brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, allspice and ginger in a small bowl. Whisk into the milk until hot. Serve with whipped cream.
