Ingredients For continental hot chocolate

  • 2 c
    (500 ml) hot milk
  • 1/3 c
    (80 ml) chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 c
    (60 ml) chocolate liqueur
  • 1/4 tsp
    (1 ml) almond extract
  • 1/2 c
    (125 ml) 35 % cream
  • a pinch of ground nutmeg
  • top with shaved chocolate

How To Make continental hot chocolate

  • 1
    Combine hot milk, chocolate syrup and liqueur and almond extract.

    Whip cream until softly stiff. Pour milk mixture into cups or mugs.

    Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg.
