A creamy, rich and big-on-chocolate flavor cocoa mix. Using confectioner's sugar in this recipe allows for dissolving quickly as well as thickening the cocoa. This is a Cook's Country recipe that I received in my email at work the other day.

Ingredients For best-ever hot cocoa mix

  • 3 c
    milk, nonfat, dry
  • 2 c
    confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    dutch-processed cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 c
    vanilla or white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How To Make best-ever hot cocoa mix

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Working in two batches, pulse ingredients in food processor until chocolate chips are finely ground. Store in airtight container for up to 3 months.

    To make hot cocoa: Stir 1/3 cup of mix into 1 cup of hot milk. Top with whipped cream or miniature marshmallows.
