Both smoothies are from Maria Prassa http://breadandtea.com/tag/smoothies/neasletter I have been receiving since last year. I always have yogurt in my fridge so these smoothies can be made in no time for my family & myself to enjoy. I've even frozen the melon/banana smoothie and it tasted like frozen yogurt. The right treat on a hot summer day! ENJOY!!!

1/2 cgreek yogurt, plain & strained

vanilla bean (the seeds of half a vanilla bean or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract)
- MELON CUCUMBER SMOOTHIE

2 slicemelon

1/2cucumber

1/2 cyogurt

a few mint leaves

a bit of fresh ginger (optional)
How To Make healthy melon smoothies with yogurt

1For both smoothies, place all ingredients in a blender, add two ice cubes, if your ingredients are not cool, and blend until smooth. The first smoothie has a more thick texture because of the banana, sweet taste and an amazing vanilla scent and the second one is fresher because of the cucumber and spicy because of the ginger. Choose your favorite combination and enjoy!

2My notes: I sometimes find the melon/banana smoothie to be too thick, so I add some fresh milk to be able to drink with a straw:)
