This is an easy version of the traditional English wassail. It's a snap to make and leaving it in the percolator keeps it warm and ready to serve.

Ingredients For coffee pot wassail (sallye)
- NOTE: YOU WILL NEED A 30 CUP PERCOLATOR FOR THIS

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

4cinnamon sticks, broken up

4 tspwhole cloves
-
1 pinchsalt
-
9 ccranberry juice
-
54 ozapple juice
-
6 ozfrozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

4-1/2 cwater
-
1 cbourbon or port (optional)
How To Make coffee pot wassail (sallye)

1Place brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves and salt in the top basket. Set aside.

2Place all remaining ingredients in the pot.

3Return basket to top of pot.

4Switch pot on and percolate as you normally would coffee or other beverages. Wait for the wonderful smells to surround you.
