Ingredients For mayan hot chocolate

1/2 ccocoa powdered

1 tspflour
-
1/4 cdark brown sugar

2 pinchground nutmeg
-
1/4 tspground cloves
-
1/4 tspground or crushed ancho pepper

1 stickcinnamon, crumbled

4 1/2 cmilk
-
2-3 Tbspcold milk (for paste)

2 tsppowdered sugar
-
1 tspvanilla
-
whipped cream for garnish
How To Make mayan hot chocolate

1Heat the milk to near boiling in saucepan.

2Sift together the cocoa powder and flour in small bowl. Slowly mix in the 2-3 teaspoons cold milk and stir until it becomes paste. Once smooth, add the other spices and sugar. Mix well. Stir constantly & mix paste into the hot milk until smooth.

3Before serving, strain out the cloves and cinnamon off the top and add powdered sugar and vanilla. Garnish with whipped cream.
