My granddaddy used to make this for me at bedtime when I was a little girl. It is sometimes made with a dash of weak tea but he never added the tea.

Ingredients For cambric tea

  • 1 (12 oz.) can
    evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    sugar

How To Make cambric tea

    In a saucepan, mix all ingredients well.

    Heat on medium-low until hot, stirring often.

    Serve hot.
