We love these margaritas, they are made with premium liquor and are not too tart. Careful, they do not taste strong, but are. Enjoy!

This refreshing margarita recipe truly lives up to its name. Premium liquor really makes a difference in this case. It's sweet with just the right amount of tartness mixed in. They taste very smooth. So be careful while drinking... they'll sneak up on you. Cheers!

Ingredients For top shelf margaritas

  • 1 can
    frozen limeade
  • 2 1/2 c
    premium gold tequila liquor
  • 1 c
    Grand Mariner liqueur
  • 4 1/3 c
    water
  • 2
    limes
  • 1
    container of margarita salt

How To Make top shelf margaritas

  • 1
    Thin slice one lime into circles and put in a glass pitcher. Cut the other one into wedges so you can rub the rim with it prior to rolling into margarita salt.

    Mix the water and limeade in a clear pitcher. Add the sliced limes tequila and Grand Mariner. Do not add ice to the pitcher, it will dilute quickly.

    Take a wedge of lime and rub around the rim of a margarita glass.
  • 4
    Roll the rim in the salt and fill the glass with ice.
  • 5
    Pour the drink mix into the glass and put a lime wedge in the glass.
