1 bottle750 -ml volka

How To Make limencello

1using a vegetable peeler, remove peel from lemons in long strips (reserve lemons for other use) remove pith from peels

2Place peels and Vodka in a large 2 quart pitcher cover with plastic wrap. steep for four days or longer at room temperature

3stir water and sugar in large sauce pan over medium heat until sugar dissolves ( about 5 min)

4cool completely and then pour sugar mixture over vodka mixture let stand overnight strain limoncello through a mesh strainer . discard peels. pour into bottle. seal bottles and refrigerate until cold at least 4 hours or up to one month
