transfusion

Concord grapes grow abundantly in New York state. So grape cocktails tend to be a summertime specialty at some bars, and this is one particular cocktail that you might see on the menu. It's especially common at golf and country clubs, because they're more likely to keep grape juice on hand at all times, whereas only a handful of bars are likely to do so. It's a much easier version to make compared to its predecessor, the Concord Crush, which was created by a Gramercy Tavern bartender which uses a pureed base (made from fresh local grapes) that tastes like grape juice but is much thicker.
