Ingredients For tiki style mai tai

ice cubes

1 ozdark rum

1 ozlight rum

1 splashgrenadine syrup

1/2 ozorgeat (almond flavor syrup - i use the torani syrup for flavoring coffee)

2 ozprepared orange juice

2 ozpineapple juice

1/2 oztriple sec (or other orange flavored liqueur)

1pineapple wedge (for garnish)

1maraschino cherry (for garnish)

1/2 cupcrushed ice
How To Make tiki style mai tai

1Place ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Add dark rum, light rum, almond syrup, grenadine, orange juice and pineapple juice. Shake vigorously until well blended.

2Place crushed ice in a hurricane glass. Strain the cocktail into the hurricane glass.

3Float the triple sec on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon. Garnish with a cocktail skewer threaded with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry, and serve immediately with a straw.
