Everyone who tries this loves it.It is a fraction of the cost and almost as good as the name brand.I've seen the recipe 100's of time but made with Vodka.Kahlua is made with rum.White Russian's are great. Give it a try.

Ingredients For tammi's homemade kahlua

  • 2 qt
    water
  • 5 c
    sugar
  • 6 Tbsp
    instant coffee powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 5 c
    rum

How To Make tammi's homemade kahlua

    Put 1qt.of water in 1 pan bring to boil add coffee.in another much bigger pan bring the other qt.of water to boil stir in sugar bring back to a boil for 1 minute.bring both to room temp.then pour the coffee into the sugar pan.add vanilla and rum.then ENJOY!1
