Tequila’s a natural pairing for spicy chili peppers, and the margarita is a drink that could use a bit of heat at times. If you like a little spice in your life, then the Spicy Margarita is a cocktail recipe you’ll want to pursue. Pick up at least a mid-range blanco tequila; for an upgrade, this drink is fabulous with an aged reposado. For the orange liqueur, a brandy-based option like Grand Marnier adds richness, but a top-shelf triple sec like Cointreau is nice as well. Fresh lime juice is simply non-negotiable. Make these by the pitcher for a party or just another afternoon on the porch.
