I can't remember where I got this crowd pleasing recipe. This sangria is light and refreshing. A real summer treat! We love it, and I hope you do too!

Ingredients For simply summer sangria

  • 4
    oranges: 2 juiced, 2 halved lengthwise and thinly sliced crosswise
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 c
    brandy
  • 1 bottle
    dry red wine, chilled
  • 2
    lemons, thinly sliced
  • 2 c
    seltzer or club soda, chilled
  • ice cubes, for serving

How To Make simply summer sangria

  • 1
    In a large pitcher, combine orange juice, sugar, and brandy. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.

    Add wine, orange and lemon slices, and seltzer (or club soda). Stir to combine.

    Fill glasses with ice before serving.
