This is a version of the classic Margarita with ruby red juice instead of lime. I use agave syrup instead of simple syrup. Use less agave then you would simple syrup.

Ingredients For ruby red margarita

    ruby red grapefruit
  • 6 oz
    tequila, silver preferred
  • 2 Tbsp
    agave syrup ( 1/4 cup simple syrup)
  • sugar, for rim of glass

How To Make ruby red margarita

  • 1
    Squeeze the juice out of all the grapefruits, and combine with the tequila and the agave.

    Wet the rim of your glasses (you can do this with a slice of grapefruit), and dip in sugar.

    Serve over ice.
