This is like a pretty layered fruit salad with booze poured over the top! At least that is the way we think about it. It is so delicious! You can change up the fruit if you like, this is the way I learned to make it, and the colors are beautiful. Be careful, that wine-soaked fruit packs a punch! .

Ingredients For rainbow sangria

  • 1 1/2 bottle
    mascato, chilled
  • 1/2 c
    triple sec
  • 1/4 c
    brandy
  • 3 limes
    juice of, strained
  • 1/4 c
    sugar (optional) to taste
  • 3 c
    blackberries
  • 3 c
    blueberries
  • 6 kiwis
    peeled, sliced, quartered
  • 2 c
    diced pineapple
  • 2 c
    diced mango
  • 2 c
    halved strawberries, quartered if large
  • 8
    whole strawberries for garnish

How To Make rainbow sangria

    Make sure all ingredients are well chilled.

    In a large pitcher over ice, mix together the white wine, triple sec, brandy, lime juice, and sugar, (if using).

    In tall collins glasses, layer the fruit in order given in ingredients list, around a straw: (blackberries first, then blueberries, kiwi, pineapple, mango, ending with strawberries.)

    Pour wine mixture over the fruit. Serve with the straw and an iced tea spoon for the fruit.
