Blue Ribbon Recipe

We love this take on a pina colada. The recipe has the perfect balance of pineapple and coconutty pina colada flavor. It's creamy with a hint of tartness. Topping with cream soda makes it a pina colada float. This tasty cocktail is sure to cool you down on a hot summer evening.

If you have a hard time finding white cream soda substituting vanilla cream soda will work wonderfully.
  • Pineapple juice, pina colada mix, vodka, and rum in a resealable container.
    1
Mix together pineapple juice, pina colada mix, vodka, and rum. Freeze overnight. (For convenience, I use clean plastic ice cream pails for this.)
  • Topping slush with white cream soda.
    2
When time to serve, add 2 tablespoons (or desired amount) of slush to a glass and fill with white cream soda.
  • Pina Colada Slush garnished with fresh fruit.

    Garnish with fresh tropical fruit.
