Ingredients For peach-basil margarita

3 lgfresh basil leaves; plus small sprigs for garnish, if you like

1 Tbspfresh lemon juice

1 oz(2 tbs.) peach liqueur

1 1/2 oz(3 tbs.) silver tequila

1 sliceripe peach
How To Make peach-basil margarita

1Put the large basil leaves, lemon juice, and peach liqueur into a cocktail shaker or mixing glass; crush with a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon for about 10 seconds to release the flavor from the basil.

2Add the tequila and enough ice cubes to fill the shaker 3/4 full, then stir for about 20 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice, and garnish with the peach slice and basil, if using.
