This is a popular tequila and grapefruit cocktail from Mexico. There are a lot of different versions of this cocktail, but I really like it with the grapefruit soda because it's so refreshing. But I'm looking forward to trying it again (and again) using fresh grapefruit juice.

Ingredients For paloma

salt, for rim

2 1/2 oztequila

1 squeezelime juice

6 ozruby red (pink) grapfruit juice or grapefruit soda (like fresca, squirt, or jarritos)

1lime wedge, for garnish

1 cice cubes
How To Make paloma

1Turn highball glass upside down and dip rim in water to moisten rim. Then dip rim in salt to coat rim with salt crystals.

2Add ice to highball glass. Add tequila and lime juice, then top with grapefruit juice or soda. Stir.

3Garnish with a wedge of lime, and serve.
