Refreshing and colorful, this cocktail is sure to be welcomed during the hot summer months. Serve it with a salt rim and a lime wedge.

Ingredients For mixed berry margarita

  • 10-12 lg
    ice cubes
  • 3 c
    frozen mixed berries (substitute strawberries or mangoes)
  • 6 oz
    white tequila
  • 6 oz
    cointreau liqueur
  • 1 c
    orange juice
  • 1 c
    sprite (substitute 7up or squirt soda)
  • 1 c
    sparkling mineral water such as san pellegrino or perrier
  • 2 Tbsp
    agave nectar
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    freshly squeezed lime juice

How To Make mixed berry margarita

    In the jar of a blender, combine ice cubes, berries, tequila, Cointreau, orange juice, soda, sparkling mineral water, agave nectar and lime juice; process until smooth and well blended.

    Pour margarita in a large pitcher and transfer to the refrigerator for 2 hours or until chilled. Yields 8 cups
