We LOVE gin. Many people don't. I developed this recipe for those who aren't "in love" with gin because it capitalizes on the piney flavor of the gin and refreshes at the same time. It's a lovely summer-sitting-on-deck drink.

Ingredients For lime gin rickey

4 jiggersdry gin (i use tangueray)

2limes, juiced
-
ice
-
1 Tbsprefined sugar

tonic water

2lime wedges
How To Make lime gin rickey

1In a shaker, combine gin, juice and sugar. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds to dissolve the sugar.

2Fill two highball glasses 3/4 full with crushed ice

3Pour shaken mixture into two glasses.

4Add tonic water to fill glasses. Stir vigorously.

5Garnish with lime wedges. Serve.
