On a cold winter's eve whether spending alone in front of the fire with a good book, or a night playing cards or watching movies with friends, this will warm your taste buds! I have split up the batter and given as gifts at Holiday time!

Ingredients For hot buttered rum

2 lbbutter, softened

2 lbbrown sugar, firmly packed

2 lbpowdered sugar

1/2 galsoftened french vanilla ice cream

2 tspcinnamon

2 tspnutmeg

rum or brandy of choice

hot boiling water
-
whipped cream
How To Make hot buttered rum

1mix all above ingredients and freeze

2to make a mug....8-10 oz boiling water add 2-3 Tbs of the batter and add 1 jigger of Rum or Brandy of choice stir and enjoy. Can be topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg
