I had a bit of trouble coming up with a name for this drink. Do you have any notion how many cocktails have the word “breeze” in their names? Actually, the idea for this came from my cousin, and I. He works part time at a couple of bars around London. He calls it a London Breeze; however, it you look at the ingredients, it says anything but, London. I am not the only one to call a recipe “Bahamian Breeze,” but in a Web search the ingredients for the other recipes are very different. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

If you make a lot of cocktails, you are probably familiar with simply syrup, you can buy it or make your own. Just bring 50% water, and 50% granulated sugar to a boil, remove from heat, cool, and there you go… simple syrup.
