With Fall around the corner (let's hope so) we'll all be ready for those belly warmer drinks. This is my take on an Irish Coffee. Everyone I know enjoys them and always asks for seconds. Now I have to tell you, I NEVER measure when making these. For the sake of the recipe I have put down measures to use as guidelines. The Creme De Menthe is strictly for appearance sake.

Ingredients For cc's irish coffee

  • 2 oz
    irish whiskey
  • 3 tsp
    brown sugar
  • 4 oz
    strong hot coffee
  • 2-3 dash
    kahlua
  • whipped cream for topping
  • creme de menthe (optional)

How To Make cc's irish coffee

  • 1
    Stir whiskey, brown sugar, coffee and kahlua together in a mug.

    Top with whipped cream.
  • 3
    Optional: Drizzle with creme de menthe.
