This cocktail was (to the best of my knowledge) first created at Chili's Restaurant. It's no longer on Chili's menu, so I thought it best to jot down the ingredients and save the cocktail recipe here so it's available whenever I care to enjoy this tasty tropical cocktail.

Ingredients For calypso cooler

1orange wedge (for garnish)

1maraschino cherry (for garnish)

1 1/4 ozspiced rum (captain morgan's recommended)

1/2 ozpeach schnapps

4 oz ozorange juice (about 1/4 cup)

1 splashrose's lime juice

1/2 ozgrenadine

1/2 cupice cubes
How To Make calypso cooler

1First prepare fruit skewer by placing orange wedge and cherry on a toothpick; set aside.

2Add ice to a 16-oz glass. Pour all of the liquors and juices (rum to grenadine) into the glass in the order listed. Don't stir.

3Garnish with the fruit skewer, and serve immediately with a straw.
