With summertime approaching, this is a great "cooler" to have while sitting on the deck after a hot summer day. It is simply a great "sipper" and easy to store in the freezer -- it will not freeze solid, just a slush. It's great.

Ingredients For bourbon slush

    6-oz cans frozen lemonade
  • 1
    6-oz can frozen orange juice
  • 7 c
    very strong tea
  • 1-1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2
    juice cans - tennessee's best bourbon

How To Make bourbon slush

  • 1
    Steep tea for 15-20 minutes (use one regular tea bag per cup). Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Add all other ingredients & mix well.

    Pour into freezer container and keep in freezer until needed. It will not freeze solid -- will stay slushy. I usually let it freeze overnight.
