A variation of a margarita that has been very popular of late. It goes down easy, but packs a punch.

Ingredients For beergarita

  • 12 oz
    can of frozen limeade mix
  • 12 oz
    blanco tequila (or your favorite)
  • 12 oz
    beer with lime (your favorite lager will do.)
  • 12 oz
    lemon lime soda
  • lime wedges, optional
  • kosher or margarita salt, optional

How To Make beergarita

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients in a pitcher that holds at least 1 1/2 quarts. (I use the limeade can to measure the tequila; no measuring cup to wash.) Stir well to combine. Will foam up some so shaking is not recommended.

    Rub rim of each glass with lime wedge and dip in salt.

    Fill glasses with ice.
  • 4
    Pour margaritas over ice and garnish each with a lime wedge.
