If this don't punch ya out I don't think anything will. Please do not drive if you are going to drink this punch this holiday. This is so good you won't believe you drank as much as you did. It is so smooth - reminds me of long island iced tea- which in my opinion is not tea at all. hee-hee! So please moderation here!!!

Ingredients For artillery punch

  • 4 c
    strong tea (make with 4 c. hot water 8 tea bags)
  • 2 c
    orange juice
  • 1 c
    lemon juice
  • 4/5 qt
    dry red wine
  • 2 c
    gold rum
  • 2 c
    rye whiskey
  • 1 c
    gin
  • 1 c
    brandy
  • 1 1/2 oz
    benedictine herbal liquor,optional
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1
    chunk ice for punch bowl
  • 4/5 qt
    champagne, chilled
  • lemon twists or slices

How To Make artillery punch

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients except ice, champagne and lemon twists or slices in a large punch bowl. Let stand in cool place 48 hours. Place block of ice(chunk) in punch bowl just before serving. Pour champagne over ice. Garnish with lemon. Makes 16 or more servings 1/2 c. each.
