•1 sweet onion, quartered

•4 cloves garlic, smashed

•half of a dried ancho chile (with seeds)

•1/4 red wine vinegar
•
•2 cups Dr Pepper
•
•Water as needed

FOR THE TACOS:
•
•vegetable oil
•
•1-2 poblano peppers
•
•1-2 sweet onions, thinly sliced
•
•Fresh cilantro
•
•Limes, sliced into wedges
•
•Corn tortillas, cooked and warm
