This is a delicious light salad to serve at any time of year and can be made into so many variations. It is a flexible side item that can be a hit at family or social gatherings.

Ingredients For quickie salad

    8 ounce container of cottage cheese
  • 1
    large box any flavor jello (your choice) or two small
  • 1 can
    crushed pineapple
  • 1
    large container of cool whip or two small

How To Make quickie salad

  • 1
    Use a large bowl with a lid. Drain off the juice from the canned fruit. Pour cottage cheese, canned fruit, and jello into the bowl and mix together until well blended.

    Fold in cool whip until well blended. Use gentle folding motion (my husband whips it together also and still gets good results as well).

    Chill up to two hours. Serve cold.

    Try other combinations using different fruits and jello flavors for variety.
