grated rind of an orange

1/4 tspnutmeg

1 1/2 calmond milk
How To Make pudina tal-ob (maltese bread pudding)

1Cut the bread into pieces, place in a bowl, cover with milk to soak for an hour. Mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl, add the bread and continue to stir till all the mixture is well combined.

2Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Bake in a 400 degree oven for approximately 40 minutes being sure to check by inserting a skewer in the center a few times. Ff the pudding is cooked, this should come out clean and the pudding will be firm.

3The pudina may be eaten warm or cold.
