Lots of kids and singles at First Baptist in Pensacola called her Mama Meacham. We called her Lawren. We immediately became friends after she and Joan visited us, encouraging us to move our membership to First Baptist. This is just one of the recipes that Lawren shared with me through the years. I'm sure it's available in lots of cookbooks, but it's special to me because she wrote it out for me. So . . . to me, it's her recipe. Very, very yummy!

5For me, the best thing about this dessert is that the recipe came from Lawren, and I think of her every time I make it. Truth be told, I think of her a lot . . . not just when I make this recipe.
