This sould be a staple in homes like it use to be. Didnt have alot of money, but ALWAYS had some kind of left over bread. Chickens gave you eggs, and cow gave you milk. If you where blessed, you had a few herbs or spieces. (At least " Thats what my MaMa said") This is what you can do...

3 ccubed bread

4 lgeggs

1/2 csugar

1 Tbspvanilla extract

1 cmilk or half/half

1 tspnutmeg

1 Tbspground cinnamon

1 pinchsalt
- SET OVEN TO 350F
How To Make po fokes down home bread puddin

1I large bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and vanilla; until well blended

2Add bread pieces, and carfully toss egg and bread mixture together.

3Soak mixture for 10-30 min. All pieces sould be well coated and saturated.

4Tranfer bread mixture to 9x13 pan. Bake for 20 min.

5Reduce heat to 300F, bake for 15 more min. This will allow pudding to set. ENJOY! Hot or Cold.
