Ingredients For pioneer pudding

2 tbs butter

1 cup milk

1 cup sugar

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp salt

1 cup raisins
-
1 1/2 cups apples, peeled and chopped

1 cup walnuts, or to taste

2 cups brown sugar

4 tbsp butter

2 cups water
How To Make pioneer pudding

1Cream butter (2 Tbsp), milk, and sugar. Add flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Fold in raisins, apples and nuts. Pour into a greased 9 X 13 pan. Bring the brown sugar, butter (4 Tbsp), and water to a boil. Pour over the batter int the pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
