1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 craisins (just regular sunmaid raisins)

1 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking powder

pinchsalt

1/2 csour milk (buttermilk substitute) * to make sour milk, add 1 tbsp vinegar to ½ cup milk and let stand until it thickens, then add to your dry ingredients.

1 1/3 cboiling water

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make mum's half hour pudding

1CAKE: Mix dry ingredients and raisins in a bowl. Put this mix into a greased pudding baking dish. (small round casserole dish).

2SAUCE: Pour 1 1/3 cups boiling water into a heat-safe bowl, add 1 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix this together and pour over batter.

3Bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes or so. (Mum says moderate oven is about 350F)
