Ingredients For moody's indian pudding

  • 1 qt
    milk
  • 5 Tbsp
    cornmeal
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 3/4 c
    molasses
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    ginger
  • 2
    eggs (well beaten)
  • 1 c
    evaporated milk

How To Make moody's indian pudding

  • 1
    Scald the milk with the cornmeal added, then mix in margarine, molasses, salt, spices,and eggs.

    Pour into a well greased dish. Add the evaporated milk, but don't stir.

    Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.
