My Mom made this for us when we were kids..It's one of my favorite things she makes us..

Ingredients For mom's bread pudding

1/2loaf of white bread

1/2loaf cinnamon bread

2 cmilk, scalded

2eggs
-
3/4 csugar

1 tspvanilla extract

1 tsplemon extract

1 pinchsalt
How To Make mom's bread pudding

1butter baking dish. scald milk then add vanilla and lemon extracts,sugar,salt, then add lightly beaten eggs. tear breads up and put into buttered dish then pour milk mixture over bread. you can add raisins and more cinnamon if desired.

2bake at 350 degrees till golden brown.

3sauce: 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 2 tsp butter, 1tsp lemon extract. mix all ingredients in a sauce pan till it boils then pour over bread pudding..i pour extra sauce over mine when on the plate..
