Another old friend passed this along to me many years ago and it became a favorite bread of my family while my kids were growing up. I still make it occasionally, for those special occasions, and everyone still loves it!

Ingredients For lemon bread

  • 1 box
    lemon cake mix
  • 1 box
    small, instant coconut pudding
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    poppyseeds(i usually put in 2)
  • 1 tsp
    lemon extract(or more, your preference)
  • 1 c
    water

How To Make lemon bread

    Preheat oven 350. Grease 2 loaf pans, bottoms only.

    Mix well all ingredients together. Split mixture between both loaf pans.

    Bake for approximately 40 minutes.

    *If you eat this bread with the poppyseeds, be aware that you might not want to if you have regular drug testing in your work place.
