I created this biscuit pudding recipe, a first for me, with my famous honey margarine. It's delicious - like honey butter biscuits mixed with bread pudding. You can use fresh baked, leftover, or restaurant takeout biscuits.

  • HONEY MARGARINE
  • 2 1/2 stick
    margarine
  • 3/4 c
    honey
  • BISCUIT PUDDING
  • 6 lg
    biscuits, torn into pieces
  • 2 c
    whole milk, divided
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 4
    large eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp
    sea salt

How To Make honey margarine biscuit pudding

    Whisk margarine and honey together in a small bowl until combined.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.

    In a large bowl, combine broken biscuit pieces, 2 tablespoons honey margarine, 1 cup whole milk and heavy cream.

    Let stand until the biscuits have softened, 5 to 10 minutes.

    Using a fork, stir in sugar and one of the eggs until well blended. Add the rest of the eggs, one at a time, mixing after each one.

    Stir in 3 tablespoons honey margarine, vanilla extract, sea salt and remaining milk. Pour biscuit mixture into prepared baking dish.

    Bake for 30 minutes or until the pudding is set and a knife inserted into the middle comes out clean. Cool comlletely for 5 minutes.

    Spread remaining honey margarine evenly on top.
