Wonderful dessert that I have made for Christmas and Easter. I've tried numerous puddings with it and have found are favorite to be Coconut Cream. Make sure you let the cream layer set completely before adding the pudding layer. I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine!

Ingredients For french velvet

2/3 cwalnuts, finely chopped

1 1/2 cflour

1 1/2 stickbutter

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1 ccool whip

1 cpowdered sugar
-
2 pkgpudding (your choice) 4 oz. packages

1 pkgvanilla pudding 4 oz. package

4 cmilk
How To Make french velvet

1Crust: Combine walnuts, flour and butter. Press into a 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool completely.

2Cream layer: Combine cream cheese, cool whip and powdered sugar. Blend thoroughly, put on crust. Chill until set completely.

3Pudding layer: Combine all puddings with the milk. Blend thoroughly, put on cream layer. Chill until set. Garnish with cool whip.
