This is my momma's recipe. When we all get together at her house, she always has to triple it just to be sure she gets some. There just ain't none better.

Ingredients For down home banana puddin'

1 cmilk

1 caneagle brand cream

3egg yolks, reserve whites

1 Tbspflour
-
1/4 csugar
-
1/8 Tbspsalt

2bananas
-
vanilla wafers cookies

2 Tbspsugar
How To Make down home banana puddin'

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2In a medium bowl, mix cream, milk, and egg yolks.

3In a medium saucepan, mix flour, sugar and salt.

4Pour cream mixture over dried mixture and whisk.

5Slice bananas and add to mixture.

6Cook over medium to low heat, whisking constantly. When it thickens it is ready.

7Pour cooked mixture over vanilla wafers.

8Using egg whites with 2 T. sugar, beat in a metal bowl until it is foaming.

9Pour over pudding, and cook until egg whites have browned.
