- BREAD PUDDING

6 to 8stale glazed donuts

1 canevaporated milk

2eggs, beaten

1 pinchsalt

1 tspcinnamon, ground

1small can of fruit cocktail, pureed

1/2 craisins (optional)

1 stickbutter, melted

1 tspvanilla extract
- PECAN CARAMEL SAUCE

1 1/2 csugar
-
1/3 cwater
-
1 1/2 cheavy whipping cream

1/2 croasted pecan pieces

1/2 tspvanilla extract
How To Make donut bread pudding with pecan caramel sauce

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Cut each donut into 6 pieces and place in a large mixing bowl. In another bowl, beat eggs, add milk,salt,cinnamon, pureed fruit cocktail, vanilla extract and raisins. Pour over donuts, cover and refrigerate overnight.

3In a 9 X 13 in casserole dish, melt stick of butter. Add bread pudding and cook for 1 hour or until firm.

4To prepare pecan caramel sauce mix sugar and water in heavy sauce pan to boil for 5 to 7 minutes. Reduce heat, gradually add heavy whipping cream and pecans. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes or until thick. Turn off heat and stir in vanilla extract. Pour over cool bread pudding.
