Ingredients For caramel dumplings

  • 1 1/4 c
    self rising flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • SAUCE
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    water

How To Make caramel dumplings

  • 1
    Rub together flour salt and butter until crumbly Add vanilla and milk
  • 2
    SAUCE Boil butter, brown sugar, salt and water in large saucepan
  • 3
    Drop spoonfuls of batter into boiling sauce and cook with a lid on for 15-20 minutes.
