I got this recipe from my mother-in-law Ann. Its the best recipe for bread pudding I have ever had.

Ingredients For bread pudding

2slightly beaten eggs

2 1/4 cmilk

1 tspvanilla extract

1/2 tspcinnamon, ground

1/4 tspsalt
-
2 cbread cubed (5 or 6 slices)

1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
-
1/2 craisins
- BUTTER SAUCE INGREDIENTS

1/2 cgranulated sugar or brown sugar

2 1/2 Tbspall purpose flour

2 Tbspbutter
-
1 cwater
-
1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make bread pudding

1Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and salt.

2Add bread cubes as well as brown sugar and raisins.

3Mix ingredients together and pour into round cake pan.

4Place round cake pan into bigger more shallow pan and fill 1in deep hot water. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

5BUTTER SAUCE

6Melt butter in saucepan.

7Combine sugar and flour and add to melted butter.

8Slowly add water while stirring constantly. Until mixture is smooth.

9Add vanilla and blend well. Spoon sauce over bread pudding and serve warm.
