Warm banana cake on top of a rich caramel sauce. This makes a LARGE dessert, enough to keep my teenage sons happy. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

- CARAMEL SAUCE

2 1/2 cupsboiling water

1Preheat oven to 180oC/365oF. Grease a large dish - about 16 cup capacity.

2Mix all the cake ingredients together and pour into the prepared dish.

3Pour over the caramel sauce and bake in the preheated oven for 55 - 60 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before serving

4Caramel sauce - in a large jug combine everything together- let the butter melt.
