Ingredients For bavarian peach salad

  • 2 - 3 oz. pkg
    peach jell-o
  • 2 - 3 oz. pkg
    vanilla pudding, non-instant (do not buy instant!)
  • 1 c
    boiling water
  • 1 c
    peaches, diced, canned in heavy syrup (can use sliced to - but diced works better)
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    cold milk
  • whipped cream, unsweetened
  • pecans, chopped (optional) (i like it better without the nuts)

How To Make bavarian peach salad

  • 1
    Add jell-o & sugar to boiling water & stir until dissolved. Drain the peaches, reserving 1/3 c. of the juice.

    Stir juice into the jello. Chill until slightly thick. Prepare pudding with the milk. Let it sit 5 minutes until thickened. Fold into the thickened jell-o. Stir in peaches. Pour into a mold or dish & chill until firm.

    Serve with whipped cream & nuts (if using).

    OPTIONS - Can be also made with: Mandarin Oranges with Orange Jell-O Fruit Cocktail with Cherry Jell-O
